Whenever the economy becomes as challenging as the present one we find ourselves in, the tendency is to blame everything on the flailing economy. We hear everywhere 'It's the economy!' On the other hand we've all heard that historically huge fortunes have been made during perilous times. Someone who knows how to earn money in spite of the prevailing external conditions.
Fact is, both are true. And so is everything else in between. Fortunately or unfortunately our own self-determination, attitude, believe system, aptitudes and abilities and some other factors determine where we'll land individually. We bunch various combinations of these factors together and call the ones we don't understand "luck". However each of us holds the power over our own destiny, and it's just waiting to fearlessly unbleached!
Where the truth lies is somewhere between various combinations of the sum total of all factors. Fortunately for us, we don't have to know or control all of these factors in order to reach and even exceed our own personal goals.
As humans we tend to focus on avenues and events outside of us when the real seat of power lies within. This is easy to verbalize but much more difficult to internalize and own. The fact of the matter is what we focus on is what we will manifest, no matter if it is negative or positive. Even if we are concentrating on how to earn money. During tough economic times fact is what the majority of folks are focusing on is the sad state of things. Remember what we focus on comes to pass.
Meanwhile a sprinkling of individuals see 'bad' economic times as an opportunity to slip upwards through the cracks to higher levels of success.
During these economic times, where does your viewpoint lie? If you've been a naysayer, its time to make the paradigm shift to expecting, looking for and seeing the vast opportunities that are always around us, waiting to be realized.
Your assignment is to focus on what you aim for as opposed to using the economy or anything else to excuse fear and failure. The choice is always before us. The question is will you choose to learn how to earn money in spite of external conditions.
